THEORY

"KIKUSUI LABEL" is a private label brand from Kamikaze Collection dedicated to Concours d'Elegance and car show applications.

This latest creation was developed specifically for a Concours d'Elegance event scheduled to take place in northern Paris, France, this September.

We focused on "exceptional ease of application"—even outdoors or under the scorching sun—and "beautiful water-repellency" that stands out during rain or frost at the event.

Built upon these foundations, this 2026 model represents a "KAIZEN" (continuous improvement) effort designed to surpass its predecessor.

PERFORMANCE

Furthermore, this product is a "water-repellency specialist" designed to go beyond even our "Raijin" wax.

By incorporating a next-generation fluorine compound instead of standard PTFE, we pushed the wax's water-repellency capabilities to the absolute limit.

We also introduced a high-density, hard finish characteristic of "ceramic" materials by adding aminomethoxy-polysiloxane.

During the drying process, the methoxy groups in the formula react with atmospheric moisture to form silanol, creating a siloxane network that resembles a hard resin coating—similar to that of our MIYABI COAT.

This additive allows us to achieve the signature Kamikaze look: water beading that runs straight off without leaving "tails" (streaks), combined with a hard, glossy finish that enhances the vehicle's natural luster.

I have been incredibly busy lately; in fact, I find myself unable to summon the motivation or time to create a new wax until an event is just around the corner.

Ideally, I should have announced this year's "d'Elegance Wax"—my personal CEO-level creation—much earlier. However, this specific wax was developed to be applied to vehicles competing in the Concours d'Elegance in France. We had to craft this product while fully visualizing the climate of France and the actual vehicles it would be applied to (with a smile).

Through a process of testing and verifying new materials and additives little by little, we ultimately created a product that represents a "true evolution" of the wax—a category where KAMIKAZE COLLECTION excels.

And now, we are officially releasing it.

For the container, we deliberately moved away from our traditional bamboo design, opting instead for a container machined from solid aluminum.

It features a gold color scheme—our secondary brand color—and intricate leather-style embossing. The moment you hold it in your hand, you will sense a presence unlike any other wax.

For the fragrance, we spared no expense, using high-quality French scents.

With an elegant, complex aroma reminiscent of luxury fashion houses, I personally feel this product transcends the typical realm of car care wax.

While it bears the Japanese name "KIKUSUI LABEL," the design and sophistication of the wax itself evoke the atmosphere of a Western product.

This interplay—where Japan meets the West, and tradition intersects with modernity—defines the unique worldview and style I excel at creating.

I hope you enjoy every aspect of this creation: the scent, the texture, the gloss, and the sheer pleasure of ownership.

DIRECTIONS

・Perform surface preparation using "THE d'ELEGANCE GLAZE II." Alternatively, application over a cured coating like "MIYABI COAT" is also possible.

If applying over a product with strong slickness or water-repellent properties, we recommend degreasing the surface first with "KMKZ PRIMER DEGREASING."

・We recommend applying the wax in a circular motion. This method ensures adequate film thickness and allows the wax to fill in existing minor scratches, which linear application does not achieve as effectively.

・For buffing off the wax, we recommend using our "THE d'ELEGANCE TOWEL II."

・If you desire a gloss with a harder, more solid feel, allow the product to set for 60 minutes after application, then wipe it off while using a small amount of our "THE d'ELEGANCE WATERLESS."

・While maintenance using our products is possible after the initial application, you can also perform maintenance by applying the product in a "semi-wet" manner while the vehicle is wet (e.g., after air-blowing).

※Sponges and towels used during application may harden due to the product's ingredients. Please wash them immediately if you intend to reuse them.
