OVER COAT SEALANT 6.1

THEORY

It's all for the sake of KAIZEN (continuous improvement).

Our exploration never stops. We list the issues and weaknesses of the previous product, design and test solutions in-house, and build the fixes into production. This method is only possible because we make small batches by hand.

What's new in 6.1

We fundamentally revised the formula 29 times, on real cars and test panels with several paint colors, to build a thicker film while reducing the haze that can occur during application. This is the balance we settled on.

We also added borophene, which improves durability and smoothness, and changed the fragrance to a richer scent.

1. Modified fluorinated polysilazane
This next-generation inorganic material is highly reactive and offers water and oil repellency, surface slickness and easy wipe-off of dirt. We have already blended it successfully into some of our other waxes, and applied that experience here. We have confirmed that it improves durability, and it tends to increase gloss.

2. Part of the formula from 2nd Generation RAIZIN
To give a better water-repellent film, reduce white haze on some paint colors, and make the texture slightly firmer, we added part of the formula from our well-received 2nd Generation RAIZIN.

Our experience combining ceramic-type inorganic materials with organic materials such as carnauba and oils made this possible, with changes to our usual production method. SEALANT 6.1 is the latest refinement of our inorganic-plus-organic hybrid film.

3. Carbon nanotubes
We have been developing functional coatings with carbon nanotubes. After finding a high-quality, uniform material that disperses well, we fundamentally changed the surfactant and adjusted various additives until the formula worked as intended. It is combined with an anti-static additive.

4. Low-temperature manufacturing
We changed how the product is made, adjusting the temperature for each material's melting point, with quality as the priority. The difference in texture is clear. It takes longer than a standard process and is made by hand in small batches.

5. Texture that changes with how you apply it
We developed a new applicator alongside this product. It allows a thinner, smoother application, tends to bring out more gloss, and greatly reduces the risk of haze.

The final texture also changes with the microfiber towel you use and how long you wait before wiping, so you can find the finish you like best.
