Can you achieve a flawless interior glass finish? Can you achieve a lint-free finish?

Rather than simply wiping the surface clean, we lightly polish it to enhance clarity, then embed a resin film into the polished surface. The result is a clear, slick finish that leaves no lint.

This product takes the opposite approach to today's glass cleaners.

PERFORMANCE

Designed for interior glass. It can also be used on exterior glass, but may reduce the water repellency of an existing glass coating.

"Remove dirt by polishing, not by dissolving."
This product contains a random blend of alumina abrasives, sized and graded so they won't scratch the glass, to enhance clarity. Its binder is based on a solvent that dries at room temperature, so you polish and it dries, making for very efficient work. Depending on how dirty the surface is and the type of applicator, some powdering may occur, but it wipes off easily with a towel.

The way the product dries into a light powder, followed within seconds by resin film formation, is where the formula really shines. A few seconds after you finish polishing with the applicator, a hard resin, similar to the one in KMKZ AMAZING GLAZE, forms on the glass surface.

"Clarity through resin, not just removal."
The hard resin film does not cause oil film. It helps reduce fingerprints and surface deposits, helps resist re-soiling, and helps reduce fogging from humidity. We see this resin as one way to push visual clarity as far as it can go. We encourage you to try it on your interior glass.

"Boron nitride for static control."
Boron nitride has anti-static properties. Glass is an insulator, but it can build up static charge while driving. We formulated this product with boron nitride to help reduce static on the glass surface, one of the largest surfaces on a car. Applied to both the inside and outside of the glass, we believe the combination of boron nitride and hard resin gives a noticeable result.

A NOTE FROM OUR CEO

I doubt many companies release a product made only for interior glass. For me, how clean a car's windows are has always been central to my approach to detailing. Back in my mobile car wash days, starting at 18, many customers would tell me, "Morita's glass finish is different."

The idea for this product comes from a long-established chemical I used back then. When it was discontinued and I could no longer buy it, I recreated the feel I remembered from it using materials we already had, then spent about two months fine-tuning and testing.

It may sound like a brand-new product, but for me it is simply a step I have included in almost every job for two decades, now turned into a product. You could say it is one piece of my detailing worldview, bottled.

Try it and notice your first drive: the brightness, the clarity, the contrast. A view this clear can be distracting, so please drive carefully.

Personally, what I like is that even with poor microfiber or cotton towels, it helps avoid streaks, holograms and lint. In places or conditions where it's hard to get a clean finish, having this one bottle makes a big difference.

There are also a few drops' worth of boron nitride in it. These days I use an ion air blower on the glass before wiping, and again at the end. The resulting glass finish is hard to describe to anyone who hasn't tried it.

P.S. Personally, I recommend using it on mirrors: door mirrors, rearview mirrors and visor mirrors. You'll get a glimpse of the finish I aim for in my own detailing.

DIRECTIONS

1. Prep: Remove heavy contamination from the inside of the glass (such as double-sided tape or inspection stickers) beforehand. Clean the outside of the glass first as well.
2. Apply a small amount to an applicator sponge or microfiber sponge. A pea-sized amount is enough for the first pass. If finishing the edges, apply some to the edge of the applicator as well.
3. Polish in circles: Start by working the whole glass surface in circular motions with concentrated pressure. This step works the abrasive into dirt and fine marks on the surface to smooth it.
4. Even out: Go over the circular marks with straight strokes using even pressure. The ideal state is a thin, dry film that you could rub off with a finger.
5. Let dry for about 5 minutes. (The film begins to form within seconds, but wait about 5 minutes before buffing.) An ion air blower can help with drying and static reduction.
6. Buff with the short-fiber side of a dry microfiber towel. You should feel a smooth glide and a clear, lint-free finish.
7. Final wipe with a cotton towel or another clean microfiber towel. An ion air blower can again help with drying and static reduction.

Safety: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep away from heat and open flame. Test on an inconspicuous area first.

FAQ

Q. Can I use it over a factory water-repellent coating?
A. Yes. Haze or holograms may appear. They can be removed with a damp cloth or glass cleaner.

Q. Is it for interior glass only?
A. It is designed for interior glass, but it can also be used on exterior glass. It may reduce the water repellency of an existing glass coating.

Q. Can I apply KMKZ WINDOW COAT 2.0 after using this product?
A. Yes. In our testing it applied without problems, and some users reported improved water repellency. Durability may vary.

Q. I have spots that look like hardened dots after application.
A. These are likely areas where the product was applied thickly in circles and cured as resin. Tap and rub them with the applicator sponge you used to apply it.

Q. How durable is it?
A. The film may be removed if it is wiped with other strong glass cleaners.

Q. How many applications does one 100 ml bottle give?
A. Depending on vehicle size, 15 or more applications. After the first pass to remove dirt, use only a very small amount on later applications.
