THEORY

-Aiming for the Ultimate Degreaser + Primer-

We are now ready to offer the optimal degreaser before applying any of our coatings or waxes.

Our development theory is neither too strong nor too weak. And it's functional, so the more you use it, the more you realize that this product is the one you need.

This is KMKZ's new challenge to develop a degreaser + primer for the global market.

PERFORMANCE

[Contains Ceramic Silica Powder]

Not a siloxane or silazane-based product, nor simply straight silicone,

but a nano-material containing inorganic nanoparticles.

It remains on the degreased surface, giving the painted surface a "squishy" or "slippery" texture, as if it were coated with an inorganic primer.

Ceramic silica is added as a primer to promote bonding to the inorganic ceramic coating that is applied after this process and to enhance crosslinking.

[More than "IPA + Water" Light Degreaser, Less than "Solvent Solvent"]

Many products on the market combine IPA with water, diluted with trace amounts of anionic surfactants, and then added with fragrances and colorants.

These products perform at or below the minimum required for proper degreasing, and can leave residual surfactant, fragrance, and colorants on the paint film.

However, solvents used by silicone removers and body shops dissolve the surface of paint on Japanese cars,

and can even damage the paint.

This product aims to strike a sweet spot between these two.

[A subtle "slippery" feel and the ability to "collect abrasive dust"]

First-time users may be surprised by the slight "slippery" or lotion-like feel of this degreaser.

This is because we use surfactants that are less likely to remain on the paint surface to intentionally create a smooth surface between the paint and the microfiber,

which reduces "wipe marks" when removing dust and contaminants after polishing. It's extremely useful for soft and delicate paintwork.

[For preparation of all curing coatings]

This product's degreasing process can improve adhesion, not only for our inorganic curing coatings that use little organic solvent and have a functional group of methyl groups, but also for phenyl-based curing coatings from overseas products that contain a lot of organic solvents.

[After using KMKZ AMAZING GLAZE]

Ideal for degreasing after treatment with our KMKZ AMAZING GLAZE.

While the hard resin filling effect will not be significantly affected, this degreaser will remove the surface silicone components.

When applying a curing system using Amegure, we recommend degreasing with this product to ensure a reliable application.

*Please apply the next coating within two hours after degreasing.

FROM THE CEO

This is a personal column from the CEO of KMKZ, but

In order to ensure reliable and effective application of OVER COAT CERAMIC EVO, or the Nordic development code: VIKING COAT,

we embarked on the development of a degreaser not previously available in our product lineup. During development, we tested every degreaser and degreasing solvent available, both domestic and international.

Developing a chemical that does not fall under international environmental regulations such as REACH in the European and US markets and California's Proposition 65 was essential for product development aimed at overseas markets. Therefore, we carefully selected our raw materials, considering that common IPA-based degreasers are subject to these regulations and therefore excluded. Having heard of a certain manufacturer concealing this and paying tens of thousands of dollars in fines to the state, we carefully selected our raw materials.

After ensuring sufficient degreasing ability, we repeatedly tested whether we could incorporate our technology, developed over the past 10 years, to powder nano-colloidal ceramics and allow them to adhere to paint surfaces. Longtime customers will have heard of "Kamikaze Polishing Crystal Water."

If this ceramic-dissolved water is left on a surface coating without being wiped away, it hardens and adheres to the paint surface. When acidic chemicals are used, the inorganic substance turns cloudy, and it has surface-hardening properties. Adding this product to a volatile, water-soluble degreasing agent was a real challenge.

We believe that what's needed as a primer isn't dimethicone or silicone oil, which merely borrows the word "ceramic" from its name, but rather actual surface hardening or penetration, which utilizes moisture in the air. While we use the term "ceramic," we worry that offering an invisible inorganic surface coating as a primer might be considered hype (wry smile), but it's also true that many of the people we sent samples to noticed the subtle difference, which gave us confidence.

This primer's effect is undeniably enhanced by the inorganic surface coating, whether it's polysilazane or siloxane-based. Whether the water-repellent group is a methyl group or the surface layer is fluorine, I feel that having an inorganic primer is beneficial in every way, which is why I decided to add it, given today's high costs.

I'm not sure how many people will notice this primer's effectiveness, and I'm proud to say that there are few CEOs who are willing to produce it even if it means increasing the cost by several hundred yen per bottle (lol).

As a developer and CEO, it's my greatest joy when someone suddenly notices this difference, even in places that are invisible and imperceptible.

The greatest advantage of this product, while its priming effect is important, is its perfect approach to post-sanding dust.

I've never known another degreaser that collects post-sanding dust so seamlessly, smoothly, and elegantly (lol).

Whether it's a Toyota 202 or a heavily polished Mitsubishi black, you can degrease it with almost no scratches with the right towel and proper motion.

Many volatile petroleum solvents, like IPA and Silicone Off, dissolve the paint surface to degrease.

The scary thing about degreasers is that they can quickly scratch the polished surface when used on soft paint (i.e., paint with uneven density and an unstable molecular structure).

Enjoy this almost exhilarating wiping experience on powdery paint. Forget about primer effects (lol).

The compound stuck in the surface due to interface formation is lifted and recovered... The timing of evaporation creates an exquisite viscosity and volatility.

The resulting texture is free of any oil or other adhesive residue.

There are probably many degreasers that are stronger in terms of degreasing performance alone.

To achieve a primer effect, you can apply any number of inorganic coatings separately.

What I want to say, what I want to emphasize (lol) is that sense of balance. The CEO adores this product so much that it's almost beautiful in its execution.

Please experience the ideal degreasing that KMKZ strives for.

If you recognize this exquisite technique, you're probably compatible with me.

DIRECTIONS

[How to Use]

This product is intended for pre-coating degreasing or priming after the painted surface has been cleaned and properly sanded.

Prepare two towels. Use when the painted surface is dry.

Fold one towel in quarters and apply an appropriate amount to it.

Wipe in one direction. Use the other towel to completely wipe off the surface.

Any areas that are not wiped clean or are insufficiently degreased will become cloudy.

Apply the coating within two hours of using this product.
