A no-touch, rinse-on sacrificial-layer treatment

Chapter two of KMKZ TREATMENT: a rinse-applied treatment designed to make its effects easier to notice.

1. Borophene
Graphene is a carbon-based nanomaterial, a honeycomb sheet of carbon. Borophene is a metal-based nanomaterial built from boron in a similar honeycomb-like structure. Its metallic nature gives it high conductivity and flexibility.

We developed this with a factory able to disperse it in water or solvent. In our testing, the dispersion was more stable than with carbon-based nanomaterials, and it gave good results in static reduction and surface slickness, so we adopted it.

2. Special silicone resin and borophene
A no-touch treatment that forms a sacrificial layer on every surface the rinse water reaches is a new kind of product. The key is a special surfactant that sets only the amount needed onto the paint as water runs over it. Our challenge was dispersing this surfactant cleanly and forming an even film on the paint.

This surfactant works on the positive ions on the paint surface and helps reduce static charge. Adding borophene further improves the feel of the finish.

3. Gloss that builds over a few hours
After a few hours, you may notice a wax-like feel. This comes from our special silicone resin curing in the film. Borophene gives the surface a slightly harder look.

4. Even application
Although it contains silicone resin close to its maximum limit, we saw no application unevenness in our testing. Setting just the necessary amount of our special low-molecular-weight silicone onto the film takes advanced technique, and that is where our expertise lies.

5. Low-molecular-weight silicone that works with the base coating
The low-molecular-weight silicone resin in this product fits into the gaps between the water-repellent groups of the base coating without getting in the way of them. Over a highly water-repellent base coating, it maintains that film and adds another layer on top. It contains no strong fixing agents or reactants, so it is designed not to build up and harden.

6. Reaches all surfaces
Runoff also treats black plastic trim, door interiors and wheels, not just the paint.

Maintenance for KAMIKAZE COLLECTION coatings
We wanted to offer a gloss and application experience different from OVER COAT LIQUID 6.1, with a sacrificial layer, gloss and water repellency, and easy, anti-static application. "Treatment" means protection: just as you apply hair treatment after shampooing, we believe a simple wash deserves a product that is both easy to use and functional. It is easily removed with shampoo or cleansing.

DIRECTIONS

This product is designed to be applied by spraying it into a stream of water from a shower nozzle or pressure washer, allowing even distribution across the vehicle's body. Spray 2 to 4 times into the water stream per panel. Immediately rinse each panel with water. The water stream helps the product adhere to the surface and washes away any excess.

While spraying directly onto the body is possible, the concentrated formula may cause high spots. These can be removed by wiping with a microfiber cloth.

The product can be used on all surfaces, including windows, wheels, and black trim. However, applying it to the windshield wiper area may cause wiper chatter depending on the wiper type.

If it feels too thick during application, dilute it with water by a factor of 2 to 10. This will reduce the effectiveness but improve even application.

Notes
