About ISM COAT
ISM COAT is built around "beauty" rather than a hardness rating. We do not rely on hardness figures, and while a slight increase in hardness over the original paint can be expected, what we aim for is the look of the film. Protection is a side benefit of that. Our approach is to protect the paint with a sacrificial film that also makes the finish look cosmetic-like.

Our view of coatings
Glass coatings and ceramic coatings are not actually glass or ceramic, and no coating protects against everything. Inorganic films tend to hold up well against organic soiling such as oil, but are weaker against inorganic deposits such as water spots and silica scale. As long as water contains minerals, water spots can form on any film. So we aim for a film that resists biting into the paint and can be maintained and cleaned with our maintenance products.

Film character
The formula contains a small amount of hydrocarbons, used in place of conventional organic solvents as a main component, which allows a thicker film. It also contains a trace of silicone oil or modified silicone, so it forms a soft, rubber-like film rather than a fully inorganic one. The aim is to reduce water spot damage and build a film with a sense of thickness.

Layering
We recommend applying one layer over MIYABI COAT 2.0 as a base layer. Layering materials with different properties is intended to improve the film's durability and appearance.

Directions

1. Shake well. Contents may settle. Remove any hardened crystals from the glass container, then assemble the sponge and applicator cloth.
2. Apply the product to the applicator cloth in an "X" pattern.
3. Apply in one coat, in straight lines from top to bottom. If the coating is hard to apply because of the paint, work side to side and cross over.
4. Wait 1 to 3 minutes for the coating to react and dry.
5. Wipe off with a clean microfiber towel.

Wet application is also possible: apply on a wet panel, or spray water on the panel and spread the product.

• Allow 1 to 2 hours of drying time.
• Two coats are recommended for flat areas such as the hood and trunk.
• Recommended conditions: 15–25°C, humidity 40–70%.
• Infrared heater guide: 70–75°C for 10–15 minutes per panel.

Important notes

• This product is developed and sold for professional installation. An experienced installer is recommended.
• Apply indoors if possible, or at least in shade with the paint surface not hot.
• Apply one panel at a time.
• Keep away from water and rain for at least 12 hours after application.
• If the application fails, the cured film must be removed by polishing.
• After use, always replace the inner stopper and store indoors below 20°C.
