Borophene is a metal-based nanomaterial built from boron in a near-honeycomb structure. In our testing, the dispersion was more stable than with carbon-based nanomaterials, and it gave good results in static reduction and surface slickness, so we adopted it. On top of a thick film of concentrated polymer silicone, the water repellency exceeded our expectations.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eIn our testing, the contact angle measured above 110 degrees on a standard contact angle instrument.
