Therefore, we investigated a primer that, while taking a little longer to apply, is less aggressive to the glass surface and doesn't create new scratches.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTherefore, this product does not have strong polishing or removal power on its own.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOf course, when mechanically polishing with a felt buff and a single buff, we were able to confirm a certain degree of wiper scratch removal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHowever, it does provide performance that exceeds the oil film removal required for hand polishing or the application of general window coatings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhy Choose White Ultra-Fine Cerium Powder?\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGeneral glass polishing compounds are extremely simple.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey consist of nearly uniform cerium oxide particles, a smaller amount of binder than that used in polishing paint surfaces, and a water dispersant.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe polishing power varies depending on the size and percentage of cerium contained.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn our experimental environment (a black booth developed by us and a strong spotlight), we found that many commercially available and professional-grade products\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\"excellent removal speed, but are highly aggressive to the substrate or leave polishing marks.\" In some cases, polishing marks were unknowingly left behind.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor this reason, the cerium oxide used in this product is of the same level of fine particle size as that used to polish optical lenses.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlthough it has a slightly unusual feel, we decided to introduce it based on the testing results described below.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEven more water-repellent? This is a common occurrence when polishing with a polisher.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt our work department (KMKZ AUTO DETAILING CLUB), we polish glass first before washing or polishing the body.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe reason is that the dust and abrasive dust generated during polishing and splashes of abrasives have a particle size equivalent to the coarse abrasive grain size of body polishers,\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eand simply wiping them with a cloth can scratch the paint surface. Cerium that has penetrated the wiper moving parts, black resin, resin molding, or rubber molding can sometimes dissolve and harden the surface. Therefore, we perform glass polishing early in the entire process to ensure it can be washed away.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe believe that the key to efficient glass polishing is the \"time\" of the polishing process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn addition, this product removes moisture during polishing, reducing the risk of pounding (powdering).
